Yes Virginia; you can color Glaze

I have read alot on the internet about how to use glaze, watched many videos, and tried my hand at it multiple times on little projects.

The other day, I saw where a blog reader ask a question, can you make glaze other colors besides black or mocha? mind got to turning...and I had a couple frames that were destine for chalk or magnetic I started digging and this is what I came up with.

Yes Virginia, you can color glaze to any color you want it to be...

Lime Green Glaze

On this one I painted the frame black
and then I mixed some paint from the
colors of the fabric with clear glaze.
I like the Valspar Glaze..
Hot Pink Glaze

Then on this one I did the same except I used a different color to match the fabric.

I was really impressed with how it turned out.

I don't know if the paint type makes a
difference or not, I have not gotten that
far yet.

The paint I used for these two frames
was Acrylic / Enamel

Pink and Green Magnetic Boards

Here they are together, you can see
the glazing really stands out against the
black frame color.
And all the colors really POP together

I am pleased with the results!!!

Thanks for stopping by and please
feel free to leave a comment, I do look
forward to hearing about what you think
of my little blog...
