I have a 50 mm macro lens that has was well worth the money!!!! I shot a Canon 40D & 30D so that I can interchange the lenses to each camera...that way I don't have to change out lenses so often...macro on 1 and zoom on the out pretty good...WINK!!
I make all kinds of tin yard art as well...This was some scrap tin I made into a cross for one of my flower beds....very SIMPLE but it makes a colorful statement...
The Dahlia's are new this year...I have them in a couple colors...this beauty and a pink beauty as well...
We well see if me and Dahlia's get along very well this summer...BIG SMILES!!
This is the first blooming of this Iris Plant. I transplanted it last year from the big one and it has gotten bigger than the original so far...I have Iris plants all around my yard, you might say I like the Iris...WINK, WINK!

How dare me disappearing like that....Wink!!

Girls I have been so would be the place to insert one of those cute sayings, but my mind is TOO TIRED!!

I just had to take some seems about this time every year, I just get BURNED OUT and have to distance myself for a minute and regroup.
Really I think I just want to be in my yard so bad, nothing or no one can touch that...and until I get my FIX...I am a woman on a MISSION!!! BIG LAUGHS!!

I took a vacation which consisted of staying home, getting my baby girl spayed, spoiling her all week...and let me tell you she ate it up!!! Poor Bandit (my little male) thought that crazy dog had lost her mind....LAUGHS!!!

AND OF COURSE...I worked in my yard all week as well...I don't know about you guys, but when I am home working in my yard, not having to go anywhere, for me, it does not get any better!!!
My yard is my therapy!

I got the barn cleaned out and organized...WOW!! I have more room to store things I need to transform...WINK!!

I mainly wanted to get the yard ready for some SR. Pics and then the Prom was last bi-golly, my yard was READY!!! Even if I was not.....SMILES!!

Foxglove I planted from seed last year

Gerber Daisy from 2011

I have been amazed of the Annuals that are coming back this year...I think this is a RECORD for me...I have never had that happen.

Petunia from 2011

I try to plant perennials, and the last couple of years have tried to buy only drought tolerant has made a difference with our summers getting so hot and dry...But I add color throughout the yard with Annuals in containers...and every year I have to redo the containers...but HEY this year...I have saved some money on flowers....BIG SMILES!!

Full of Lavender
I have also been Blessed with HOSTA!!
I love this plant as well. I think that some species do better than others....grow larger...multiply more...etc...and the one shown by the "Old Turkey" (which is due an overhaul) has been the best for my yard. I started with 3 small ones from the discounted rack at Lowe's and now I have a yard full of them...and the original ones...well....they get HUGE!!!

Speaking of the discounted rack....LADIES if you have any kind of Green Thumb...always go for the discounted flowers....a little dose of Miracle Grow...and in no time you have a Healthy Beautiful Plant....unless it has a disease or something like that and you should be able to tell that before you purchase it. I just purchased 3 Azalea's $2 ea.  and a couple more perennials $1 ea...(I should know the names but they are something I have not grown before) I mentioned before Drought Tolerant....I am learning about these plants as I go along...

Photo corner
I have managed to do just about every little nook and cranny in our yard for PHOTOGRAPHY, this was the latest area...I had this old bed...YES that is a HEADBOARD / FOOT BOARD... *cute huh* I got them years ago at a flea market. They were a crackle finish and from Neman Marcus...They have been in storage, loaned out to my little cousin...and sitting in the other corner for 3 years...I cleaned this corner out one had a BIG HAY BALE...(where we sight our bows) I burned all day on that bug ridden thing!!!! UGH....I sit my fence, gave it a FRESH coat of paint, and then REFINISHED the BENCH!!!  I bought this HUGH Boston Fern to sit on the center post...(but the way, I had to replace the post toppers also) it is so peaceful in the afternoons in this little corner now...I wish I had hung a SWINGING BED here too!!!
That is next on my WISH LIST!!! WINK...WINK!!!
I have to say, the photography was a HIT in this corner....I plan on getting a blog together tomorrow for some of the Pictures I have been doing....

This is my new Pallet Table...It has been GREAT...I just roll it where ever we are in the yard...Fire is very versatile!!!and Looks great with my new chairs..

And Colorful Address Pot for the Porch...

And I raided the junk yard one morning too....My old shed needed some BLING...LAUGHS!!

Well I will shut up for now...I just wanted to say hello and I am back...Bear with blogging will consist of sitting in one of the new Adirondack chairs...(I scored for $20. ea....) in the shade enjoying my Lush Green Colorful Yard....

I will visit with you all soon..Till then...
