How dare me disappearing like that....Wink!!
Girls I have been so busy...OMG..here would be the place to insert one of those cute sayings, but my mind is TOO TIRED!!
I just had to take some time...it seems about this time every year, I just get BURNED OUT and have to distance myself for a minute and regroup.
Really I think I just want to be in my yard so bad, nothing or no one can touch that...and until I get my FIX...I am a woman on a MISSION!!! BIG LAUGHS!!
I took a vacation which consisted of staying home, getting my baby girl spayed, spoiling her all week...and let me tell you she ate it up!!! Poor Bandit (my little male) thought that crazy dog had lost her mind....LAUGHS!!!
AND OF COURSE...I worked in my yard all week as well...I don't know about you guys, but when I am home working in my yard, not having to go anywhere, for me, it does not get any better!!!
My yard is my therapy!
I mainly wanted to get the yard ready for some SR. Pics and then the Prom was last weekend...so bi-golly, my yard was READY!!! Even if I was not.....SMILES!!

Gerber Daisy from 2011
Petunia from 2011
I try to plant perennials, and the last couple of years have tried to buy only drought tolerant plants...it has made a difference with our summers getting so hot and dry...But I add color throughout the yard with Annuals in containers...and every year I have to redo the containers...but HEY this year...I have saved some money on flowers....BIG SMILES!!
Full of Lavender
I love this plant as well. I think that some species do better than others....grow larger...multiply more...etc...and the one shown by the "Old Turkey" (which is due an overhaul) has been the best for my yard. I started with 3 small ones from the discounted rack at Lowe's and now I have a yard full of them...and the original ones...well....they get HUGE!!!
Speaking of the discounted rack....LADIES if you have any kind of Green Thumb...always go for the discounted flowers....a little dose of Miracle Grow...and in no time you have a Healthy Beautiful Plant....unless it has a disease or something like that and you should be able to tell that before you purchase it. I just purchased 3 Azalea's $2 ea. and a couple more perennials $1 ea...(I should know the names but they are something I have not grown before)..as I mentioned before Drought Tolerant....I am learning about these plants as I go along...
That is next on my WISH LIST!!! WINK...WINK!!!
I have to say, the photography was a HIT in this corner....I plan on getting a blog together tomorrow for some of the Pictures I have been doing....
